The Collective is a long-term project, not a one-off class. We build workshops, lessons, and teaching opportunities that scale across age groups and mediums — so young creators have somewhere to keep coming back to.

Student-led teaching

Our first workshop is live: a summer art week for ages 5–7.
The Kids Summer Art Workshop is the Collective's pilot program — a 4-day beginner experience designed to test what works before we expand. Future workshops for older age groups, digital art, and teen instructors are already in the works.

Disha Puradkar
Disha is a young artist and teacher who started the Collective to give kids in her community a real, structured place to explore art — without intimidation, without huge costs, and with someone genuinely excited to be there.
She works in watercolor, colored pencil, digital art, and craft — and brings all of it into the workshops she designs.
